Hi! I’m Courtnee. The basics are this: I am a 30-year-old history nerd residing in Birmingham, AL. I was born in Alabama, not in Birmingham, but Birmingham is my home. I adore this city. It is overflowing with hidden gems and history.
So, what’s going on here? When I began this blog I was in that place in life where I was post-college, pre-anything else. That place when people constantly ask you “So what now?” So, this was an outlet to ‘Figure Out Now’.
I tend to be very introverted but I also like to share with people when I learn from an experience so that we can all benefit. So, I thought it best to create a blog. Here we can learn about relationships, tasks that mom never taught you, or food! We can share and discuss and figure it all out together. This is a platform to learn from, to commune, judgement free. I share things that I learn going through life, things that I gather from my own life experiences, and things that I learn from others that are worth sharing.
Figuring Out Now’s purpose is to share all the information I possibly can to help us all navigate those life experiences that you’re supposed to know, but nobody taught you! It’s also a place for me to share things that bring me pleasure. My hope is that this will help someone else along the way, If only one person. If you’re reading this, thank you.
